Nonostante la quasi venerazione per i produttori di film indipendenti di successo, il mito della band composta da una sola persona è proprio questo: un mito. Senza il talento e il duro lavoro di avvocati, banchieri, contabili, personale di sviluppo, personale amministrativo e di tutti coloro che sono coinvolti nella realizzazione dei film, nessun produttore potrebbe sopravvivere o avere successo. L'elemento più importante è una visione comune del prodotto finale. Così come i registi usano uno storyboard, i produttori hanno bisogno di un piano aziendale per spiegare i loro obiettivi, speranze, aspirazioni e sogni.

Despite the near hero worship of successful independent film producers, the myth of the one-person band is just that—a myth. Without the talent and hard work of lawyers, bankers, accountants, development personnel, administrative staff, and everyone involved in making the films, no producer could survive or succeed. The most important element is a common vision of the ultimate end product. Just as directors use a storyboard, producers need a business plan to explain their objectives, hopes, aspirations, and dreams.

HARRIS TULCHIN

Harris E. Tulchin è un avvocato, produttore, autore e professore di legge con oltre 40 anni di esperienza. È stato negoziatore per l'Independent Film & Television Alliance, consulente per Studios, produttore o produttore esecutivo su oltre 20 film, distribuito centinaia di film ed è coautore di un libro considerato una delle bibbie dell'industria cinematografica intitolato "The Independent Film Producer's Survival Guide".

Harris E. Tulchin is an entertainment lawyer, producer, author, and professor with over 40 years of experience.  He has been an arbitrator for the Independent Film & Television Alliance,  a studio General Counsel and Business Affairs Executive, Tulchin has produced or executive produced over 20 motion pictures, sold or licensed hundreds of films, and is the co-author of a book considered one of the bibles of the motion picture industry entitled "The Independent Film Producer’s Survival Guide."

GIULIA BOCALETTI

Giulia Bocaletti è un avvocato specializzato in Diritto d’Autore, Media ed Entertainment. Umbra di origine si trasferisce a Roma dove si laurea presso l’Università degli Studi di Roma Tre. Appassionata da sempre dalla cultura e dell’arte in generale, una volta ottenuto il titolo di Avvocato nel 2019, focalizza la sua consulenza legale nell’ambito della produzione  cinematografica.Ad oggi vive ed opera a Roma assistendo ed affiancando producer, autori, musicisti, film maker o, semplicemente, creativi.

Giulia Bocaletti is a lawyer specialized in Copyright, Media and Entertainment. Originally from Umbria, she moved to Rome where she graduated from the University of Roma Tre. Always passionate about culture and art in general, once she obtained the title of Lawyer in 2019, she focused her legal advice in the field of film production. Today she lives and works in Rome assisting and supporting producers, authors, musicians, film makers or, simply, creatives.
